Andy Fairgrieve from the Glenfiddich Distillery in Scotland is in town this week to announce the Canadian winner of this year's Glenfiddich Artist in Residence prize. The private announcement event on Tuesday is followed by a public presentation at OCADU, the following evening. Fairgrieve will talk about the international residency, the involvement of Canadian artists over the last decade and the jury/selection process.
Trevor Mahhovsky (who, with collaborator Rhonda Weppler, was the 2014 artist in residence) will also show some images of the work the two made at the distillery. And the artist chosen for this summer will briefly introduce his/her project.

This will be followed by a tasting of various Scotch whiskeys.
